Mark Zuckerberg - Facebook Scandal

1. Although his movie is very controversial, I believe that he keeps his life out of the media not because he may not be the founder of facebook but because he doesn’t seek attention from others. Knowing the story behind facebook I don’t believe he “stole” the idea from Cameron & Tyler Winklevoss and Divya Narenda. This is because they simply asked him to create a website for them, but instead he decided to create his own website using similar ideology. The bungalow is just a strategic move on his part of not being noticed.

2. This philosophy perfect coincided with Marks invention of facebook when he first created it. By taking risks, Mark successfully developed the site step by step and by trying new things, his business only grew bigger and turned into a company. Saying this brings me to a quote I remember from Leo F. Buscaqlia. He says, “The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing, is nothing, and becomes nothing. He may avoid suffering and sorrow, but he simply cannot learn and feel and change and grow and love and love.” Mark does the opposite of this and currently is the owner of possibly the best social network site in the world.

3. His $100 million donation was so he could start a foundation for education. But in the video, he did seem a little suspicious. Some might think he donated the money as the movie was about to come out to hide any doubtful information regarding him. But personally I think it’s a coincidence with the dates.

First Blog - What I Did Today!

So dangerous D’Angelo asked us to write something on our blog. After taking some time to brainstorm an interesting topic, I simply gave up after about 15 minutes of thinking. I thought of putting up a video, writing a poem or a short story, and even just putting a letter or a symbol like he said himself. Then I concluded my thoughts by deciding to write what I had done today. After school had finished, I headed towards home and changed my outfit to something more comfortable. At around 4 O’clock a friend and I headed to Keele and Sheppard to pick up something I had bought from Kijiji. We left for Alliance theatre and arrived at the doors at around 7-ish. We watched “Easy A” because I think Emma Stone is adorably cute. We left and at 9:30 and went our separate ways at Woodbine Station. I got home around10 and remembered I had to write a blog, so I got on my laptop and started writing this!
